Procurement Manager for Agricultural Machineries
The Procurement Manager will play a critical role in managing the procurement operations of Mega SK, ensuring that the company has access to the necessary products and materials to meet market demands and maintain high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supplier Management:
a. Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.
b. Continuously assess supplier performance, quality, and reliability.
2. Procurement Strategy:
a. Develop and implement a procurement strategy that aligns with the company's goals, cost-effectiveness, and product quality.
b. Optimize the procurement process to reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
3. Inventory Management:
a. Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring efficient stock turnover and minimizing carrying costs.
b. Collaborate with other departments to forecast inventory needs and prevent stockouts.
4. Cost Negotiation:
a. Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to secure competitive and favorable deals.
b. Actively seek cost-saving opportunities through bulk purchasing and supplier selection.
5. Quality Assurance:
a. Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that all procured products meet the company's quality standards and specifications.
6. Compliance:
a. Ensure that all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
b. Keep abreast of industry regulations and trends affecting procurement.
7. Procurement Reporting:
a. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance.
b. Generate reports for management on procurement-related KPIs and insights.
8. Team Leadership:
a. Lead and develop a procurement team, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
● Proven experience in procurement management, ideally within the agricultural, industrial, or construction machinery industry.
● Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure favorable terms with suppliers.
